  2. How safe is my profile & password information?
    Profile and password information gathered in the automated system is safe and is kept confidential. Passwords are stored within the automated system and cannot be retrieved except by the individual user. (See "How do I retrieve a lost password?")

    Both profile and password information are stored at CCAP's web-host server which is maintained by Internet industry firewalls and standards for a secured web-hosting server.

    We do not give, share, sell, or transfer any personal information from the user profile to any third party. Please see the full text of our Privacy Policy.

  4. What are "cookies" and how are they used on this web site?
    We analyze user traffic patterns on CapCentral.org from information automatically provided by your login & cookies. What are cookies? Cookies are pieces of information that a web site uses for record keeping purposes. The use of cookies is an industry standard, and you’ll find cookies at most major web sites.

    By showing how guests use the site, cookies help us see which areas are popular & which are not. Future improvements & updates to our site will be based on such data as total number of visitors & pages viewed.

    Although you can see & control cookies through settings in your browser, refusing to accept cookies may limit your ability to access certain portions of the web site. And, cookies help your computer to revisit our web site without rebuilding the connection each time, simulating of a continuous connection.

  5. How do I change or modify my password?
    You can change or modify your password at any time.
    • Login normally, using your previous email address and previously chosen password.
    • To change or modify your password, click on "Change Password" located in the on the CCAP Welcome page. Once you are logged in, you can reach this page at any time by clicking on the HOME link.

  6. How do I update my email address?
    You can change or update your email address for the website at any time. Please note that this will change ONLY the website database; you must still inform each of the projects that you work with to update the project's individual panel records.
    • Login normally, using your previous email address and previously chosen password

    • After successfully logging in, click on the link "Modify Profile" in the Profile Manager box located on the left-side of your browser screen.

    • Your current profile information is displayed in the next screen. To change or modify your email, scroll part way down the page and click in the "Email" line. Delete your old email address and enter your new one.

    • In the next line, verify your new email address.

    • Click the "Submit" button.

    • Because this updates only the website automated system, don't forget to also call or email this change to each of the projects that you work with to update the project's individual panel records.

  7. How do I add, delete, or modify my email news subscriptions?
    You can add, delete, or modify the email news subscriptions you signed up for when you created your profile at any time.

    • Login normally, using your email address and previously chosen password.

    • After successfully logging in, click on the link "Modify Profile" link from the CCAP Welcome page menu.

    • Your current profile information is displayed in the next screen. To change or modify your email news subscriptions, scroll down to the bottom of the page where the list of email news subscriptions are listed. Using your mouse, click to either checkmark (add) or uncheckmark (delete) your subscriptions.
      Newsletter Subscription Center: Check the box next to each newsletter you would like to receive
    • Click the "Submit" button
