The trial court erred in denying an SVP conditional release to a property adjacent to a house where a child engaged in public charter school independent study program. Such a house is not a “school” under the Education Code and therefore does not qualify as not a “school” under WIC 6608.5(f). Interpreting WIC 6608.5(f) more broadly would lead to absurd results.
