Possession of ceramic chips from a spark plug can support a conviction for possession of burglary tools under Penal Code section 466, disagreeing with People v. Gordon (2001) 90 Cal.App.4th 1409. An officer testified that such chips are frequently used to commit vehicle burglaries by breaking the vehicle’s window and thus they were “an other instrument or tool” when possessed with intent to commit a burglary.
