The court held that a registered sex offender who fails to notify law enforcement agencies of a change of address from one county to another can be prosecuted in one county for failure to notify law enforcement of leaving the county, and can be prosecuted separately in the other county for the failure to register in that county. A person necessarily has two separate intents and objectives in violating both subdivisions (a) and (f) of Penal Code section 290: 1) to mislead law enforcement authorities and residents of one community that the sex offender remains there and 2) to conceal from law enforcement authorities and residents of another community the fact the sex offender now resides in that community. Each crime is a separate continuing act that is not so interrelated with the other act as to come within Penal Code section 654. Here, appellant moved from Sacramento to El Dorado County, but failed to notify law enforcement authorities in either county. (2-1)
