Name: People v. Masloski
Case #: S088091
Court: CA Supreme Court
District CalSup
Citation: 25 Cal.4th 1212
Summary

Although the trial court failed to advise appellant, pursuant to Penal Code section 1192.5, of her right to withdraw her plea if the court disapproved the plea agreement, the error was harmless. Section 1192.5 was not implicated because the court did not disapprove the plea agreement, but merely imposed a sentence permissible under the terms of the plea bargain in the event that appellant failed to appear at sentencing.
