Defendant Davis, who was an occasional overnight guest, sharing a bedroom with McMannis, had a reasonable expectation of privacy in a closed bag left beneath the bed. McMannis’co-lessee of the apartment, who occupied another bedroom, did not have actual or apparent authority to consent to a search of the bag, since the officers knew the bag belonged to Davis.
