JCC has increased compensation claim guidelines in the following categories for all appointments on or after March 1, 2025:
- Communication with Client and Trial Counsel (Hours Line 1): the guideline amount will increase from 3.5 hours to 5 hours
- Photocopying (Expenses Line 1): The actual cost of photocopies will be reimbursed, up to $0.25 per page
- Travel Expense – Mileage: Actual cost of mileage will be reimbursed, up to $0.70 per mile
- Travel Expense – Meals:
- Breakfast: $12.00 (if necessary to be on the road before 7:00 a.m.)
- Lunch: $14.25 (if related to a necessary overnight stay)
- Dinner: $21.00 (if necessary to be on the road after 7:00 p.m.)
- Travel Expense – Lodging Rates: Up to $110 for all counties except those counties and cities specified below, plus tax and fees per evening:
