Oral Argument Options in the Third & Fifth

The preferred options for oral argument for these courts are in-person and remote. In the Third, the court will consider telephonic on a showing of exceptional good cause, however travel/distance alone is not considered as a basis for that request. Additionally, BlueJeans is being retired with both courts and migrating to Zoom as their new platform for remote/video appearances. In the Fifth, if the court grants a request for telephonic appearance, they will still use a Zoom link but turn off the camera.
